El corcho proyectado es un producto renovable, al igual que las fibras de madera o vegetales.

Su alta adherencia permite aplicarlo sobre superficies muy variadas. Es un acabado para uso en construcciones nuevas como en rehabilitación, donde puede aplicarse tanto por el exterior como por el interior.

El corcho es ligero , flota, es elástico; tiene membranas muy elásticas con la capacidad de recuperar el 95% de su forma. Su baja conductividad de calor y sonido lo convierte en un material de aislamiento ideal.

Alrededor del 80% de la producción mundial de corcho natural se encuentra en España y Portugal.
